Sterling Hight is a well known and respected Hilton Head Island flooring specialist with over 26 years experience. In 1982, Sterling partnered with Louis Perrela to form Louis Sterling Floorcoverings and enjoyed decades of success until they sold it in the late 1990s. Over the years, Sterling has worked with countless Hilton Head and Bluffton residents, along with residential and commercial builders to create some of the most dynamic living and office spaces in the area. Most recently, in 2008, he opened the Hilton Head flooring company, Floors By Sterling Hight at the Fresh Market Shoppes on the William Hilton Parkway. And shortly thereafter, he acquired Floors On Site in Bluffton. Today, both stores go by the same name, Floors By Sterling Hight. And both stores are dedicated to providing a stunning array of quality flooring choices to transform your decorating ideas into making your home a sensational showplace. Additional Bios

Harry Gregory is the manager of Floors By Sterling Hight’s Bluffton store. As a graduate of the University of Illinois, his 32-year career touches virtually every aspect of the industry. He began his career in the greater Chicago area, where he was Floor Covering Sales Manager for Marshall Field's Commercial Interiors. He then formed Gregory Floors and Interiors, Inc. where he grew the company's annual sales to total more than $6 million with a staff of only 15. He eventually developed and implemented a successful acquisition/merger strategy that resulted in selling the company to Shaw Industries. Harry managed the new Chicago operation for several years until he moved to Hilton Head Island, SC. where he worked for Louis Sterling Floors and then opened Floors On Site in Bluffton.

Bonnie Barth manages residential and commercial sales along with the showroom at Floors By Sterling Hight in Bluffton. Prior, she worked for Louis Sterling Floors for more than 10 years. In addition, Bonnie has successfully completed sales training through Shaw’s Martha Stewart Certification program, the Tile Council of America, and Mirage Wood Flooring. Bonnie excels at building strong customer relationships and wearing many hats at our company. Her husband, Joe Barth, is our lead carpet installer. He is CFI-certified for residential and commercial work including double-stick applications and pattern-matching flooring on Hilton Head.

Rodney Muckenfuss leads our outside sales effort for new and existing residential builder business. This includes project management and estimating. He has also represented Floors On Site at vendor conferences for Mohawk and American Home Surfaces Group. Prior to joining us, Rodney was responsible for new business development at Louis Sterling Floors. He has also owned and operated a small business, and has lived and worked in the Hilton Head area for 20 years, as evidenced by his extensive personal and business contacts.

Melissa Tyminski is the showroom manager and sales assistant at the Floors By Sterling Hight Hilton Head store. She has worked in the retail floor covering business for almost 10 years, with deep experience in sales, scheduling and purchasing.
