Introduction to Floors by Sterling Hight Team and Services:

We are a quality and service-oriented flooring company that prioritizes relationships and customer referrals over traditional advertising. Our customers consistently recommend us because of our dependability and the exceptional quality of our installers. We are proud members of both the Hilton Head Chamber of Commerce and the Hilton Head Home Builders Association.

Our sales team is led by Deb Dozier, who has been instrumental in supporting our operations. Deb joined us in January of 2023 to support the transition of Sterling Hight, who retired on August 1, 2025. With over 25 years of leadership experience in store operations and expertise in business analysis and customer relations, Deb ensures we deliver outstanding customer experience. Our team includes Kirk Kubiak, who brings experience in construction supervision, property services, and project management. We also have the best carpet installers in the country and wood installers with over 35 years of experience. Our tile crew is recognized as one of the top teams in Hilton Head.

Given the high humidity in our region, we install a significant amount of engineered flooring to ensure durability and quality.

Floors by Sterling Hight was established 17 years ago in partnership with Bonitz, Inc., one of the largest commercial flooring companies on the East Coast. Floors by Sterling has been serving Hilton Head since 1982, and Sterling Hight, ran the business since 2008. We are proud to be a financially stable and well-established business in the community.

Our Team:

Kirk Kubiak: Sales, estimates, and troubleshooting

Eddie Ballway: Warehouse management

Deb Dozier: Sales, operations, ordering supplies, estimates, invoicing, and scheduling

Lori Ferguson: Finance and bookkeeping
