"We treat customers the way we would like to be treated."

We are a quality and service oriented flooring company. We do not advertise, but rely on relationships and customer referrals. Our customers shop with us because we are dependable and have the best quality installers anywhere, in one word– "service." We are members of the Hilton Head Chamber of Commerce and the Hilton Head Home Builders Association.

The sales team consists of the Proprietor of the business, Sterling Hight, and Deb Dozier, who has been selling & supporting the operations of the business. Deb is a responsible and experienced leader, with 25+ years managing store operations. She is an expert in business analysis and customer relations, allowing her to provide excellent customer experiences. We have the best carpet installers in the country and have worked with the same wood installers for over 35 years. Our tile crew is as good, or better, than any in Hilton Head.

Again, service is our business. With the high humidity of our area, we install a lot of engineered flooring.

We started this business 12 years ago in partnership with Bonitz, Inc. Bonitz is one of the largest commercial flooring companies on the east coast. We are a very financially stable business. Sterling Hight, our proprietor, started selling flooring on Hilton Head in 1982, and he has been an island resident since 1980.

Sterling is responsible for sales, estimates, trouble-shooting, and the scheduling of jobs.

Dan Braymiller is in charge of our warehouse.

Deb Dozier, is responsible for sales & supporting the operations of the business.

Lori Ferguson tracks all of our finances as our bookkeeper.

Floors by Sterling Hight is located in The Fresh Market Shoppes at 890 William Hilton Parkway, Suite #25 on Hilton Head Island.
We are approximately halfway between Sea Pines and Palmetto Dunes.
We serve Hilton Head, Bluffton, Hardeeville, Okatee, and occasionally Beaufort and Savannah.
